Conduct of the Match

The referee will conduct the match.  Any calls made by the referee will not be questioned during a game.  A team captain may ask a referee during a game to repeat the call but may not ask for justification of a call.  A team captain may also request from the referee a lineup check during a game.  During the games of a match, the decisions of the referee are final.

MATCH - A match will consist of the best two (2) out of three (3) games.  The first two games will be played to 25 points.  The third game will be played to 15 points.  The third game will be played, regardless of the outcome of the first two games.  All games must be won by two (2) points.  Points will be awarded based on rally scoring.  Rally scoring awards points each time the ball is put into play (not just when a team is serving).  Let serves (those serves that hit the net and go over) will be considered in play.

SERVE - Each player will be allowed one “do-over” serve on the first serve of that player’s service.   A player may serve underhand or overhand on either of these serves, but it is highly encouraged that each girl tries to serve the first ball overhand.
